As a hypnotherapist, I deal with a lot of confusion and fear around hypnosis, mostly from its misrepresentation in film and TV. Jordan Peele's GET OUT uses hypnosis as a wonderful metaphor so I completely excuse it for fundamentally mischaracterizing hypnotherapy.
The Yule holiday just passed, but I am still feeling the need for the basic Yule message to be felt. I don't think I'm alone in that.
The days are short and frosty. The world feels as though all hope died and there is only darkness and cold in store.
But, when we come together, light fires in the night and sing songs of rebirth and unity, we remind ourselves that the long, cold nights don't last forever. That knowledge is a strength and having that hope is important to making it through.
Find a safe, comfortable place where you won't be disturbed for 15 minutes. Make yourself comfortable and warm. Recline in your chair, if you can. And remember that the night, no matter how dark, doesn't last forever.
feel free to watch this as often as you like. You will get added benefit from repeated watchings as the message is taken in on a deeper and deeper level.
waking up to a new life should happen every day
