Abraham Maslow, a prominent Humanist Psychologist, originated the idea of a Hierarchy of Needs. In order to be free to fulfill our higher aspirations, we must first provide for our basic survival needs. It is only after we have ensured our survival and safety that we are able to work on self-expression, self-actualization and self-transcendence.

Once an individual has moved beyond working for their basic needs, the term Maslow coined to described the drive towards personal growth is Metamotivation.

In calling my web-site (and practice) MetaMotivation Hypnosis, I commit myself to following in the example of Humanist Psychology, and advancing the ideas of self-empowerment, empathy, creativity and individuality.

Hypnotherapy can help you organize your life, secure you basic survival needs, and allowing you to expand your life to your full potential.
